I lived this one as well. The draft rushed out much as you read it. I just sort of tightened things up a bit. I was so raw when that marriage ended...

It's a good poem, Mark. I commented over there, too. You do "uncomplicated" poetry with finesse. A pleasure to experience the combination.

I'm not at all sure what you mean by 'uncomplicated poetry' but many thanks.

I tend to write like I speak, then try to make it more 'interesting' for a poem. I think. I'm not really sure...
