This prompt struck me poetically, and thus I changed the rules.....sorta.

This morning I
        made my wife smile
        made a mad dash to work
        made a left turn
    a cup of coffee

Not long ago I
        made a poem
        made a mess with plaster
        made a decision
    made another poem

Every morning I
        make a prayer
        make a choice
        make a course correction
    make a leap of faith
