Character Meme 2 - Near
My second character meme, after distorted_r gave me Rinoa to work with last time. This time the request is from the loverly Moon Maiden and she gave me the character Near.

1. Do you like this character?
Mostly, yes.
Near is one of the very few characters I can't really make up my mind about. Some days I'll go around defending him from all the Near-haters, other times I don't really care about him. Light is my favorite Death Note character, then L. I suppose that Near comes right after them on most days, if I'm not in a Mattfag mode. XD
Sometimes Near's complete lack of emotion irritates me, but I find him quite attractive. I have a bit of a white sock fetish and so I, strangely enough, really, really like Near's... feet. Yeah. Don't look at me like that. O_O;;
Also, as Ciel from Kuroshitsuji has proven, I am apparently a pedophile.
It's very interesting that Moon Maiden gave me Near considering that Near is actually one of my nicknames, I go by Nearu on fanfiction.net and I've been wanting to change my name to Nearu on LJ as well. This is not directly related to the character Near from Death Note (and by God, my personality is nothing like Near's, except that we both seem to have OCD - only that his is far, far worse XD;) but because my previous nickname was Nea Vanille and my friend Moonz christened me Near after that. Her and a lot of other friends still call me Near (or variations thereof, like Neeyur) - it's gotten so bad that I actually listen to the name 'Near'. XD

Jail bait. Nieru. L Number 2 who's smart enough not to killed by a mummified lesbian sponge.
3. What image-color do you associate with this character?
...can I really say anything other than 'white'? XD
4. What image-song do you associate with this character?
Ummmm. Obviously, his official theme on the Death Note OST, which I think is second only to L's theme in terms of coolness (which is saying something, since I consider the Death Note OST to be one of the best anime OSTs ever). Other than that...
Tarzan and Jane by Toy Box? XD LOL. (Only because of the band's name, obvzly).
5. What blood-type do you think this character is?
I'm thinking AB- because he's that weird. XD (Yes, I have some basic ideas about blood type superstitions and I know my own :-))
6. Of all of the titles that this character appears in, which characters do you like to put this character with?
See, that's the thing - even though I like Near, I'm not usually very fond of pairing really passive ukes with other characters. I like badass ukes who can be demanding and bitchy - like Ciel, or Lelouch, or Roxas - and Near is none of these things, so I'm mostly a Near x Toys fan. XD
If I do have to pick someone to put him with, maybe Halle? Because, man. Femdom. Is like. One of my biggest kinks.
I've been warming up to Mello/Near, although I still prefer Matt/Mello (with Mello as the uke, because he's the kind of demanding uke I drool over). I suppose I like Light/Near, because I like pretty much every Light pairing under the sun (he's my favorite character and I always want to turn my fave characters into complete whores XD).

"Are you a virgin? ... Want me to change that?? *wriggly eyebrows*" XD

Umm. Probably kiss because I like to molest ukes. I know, that must come as a shock to my entire flist. XD
