Productivity makes me incredibly happy...

I've recently become 'addicted' to a new-ish video game: Pikmin.
It's just so cute; I have to play it every day. It's the first game I've liked as much as Guitar Hero (which I'm playing on the Hard difficulty now, for those who are also fanatics of the game).
We went out and bought Pikmin 2 as soon as Steve finished the first one and are planning on buying the third one when we have the finances to buy it.

Now, the most important event of the week, some news that I hope will allow us to get an apartment relatively soon: I went out and picked up a few applications for fast food joints with Steve, and put in an online application at Kroger. Each place we stopped (Taco Bell, Wendy's, KFC, long John Silver's, and McDonald's) had people who seemed very interested in adding both Steve and me to their crew, so I'm feeling really hopeful about having a job by the end of this next week.
If our first run turns out to be fruitless, then I'll be doing the job hunt up and down Cherry Hill Rd.
Crossing my fingers!

The day we went out to pick up apps turned out to be a really productive day for Steve and I. When we got home, we decided we should do a few loads of laundry, and that seemed to kick-start us to do nearly everything we needed to get done. We cleaned our room (including the vacuuming, which desperately needed to be done), and cleared out the horrifying amount of trash in the car.
We vacuumed the inside of the car, too, which cost $0.75 and ended up costing us $3.00. It was bad, but I will never allow it to get to that point again.
