summer travels #1: SPAIN
Spain was the much-needed post exams holiday getaway. Instead of doing touristy things, we ate, drank and played bridge all day.
In Madrid, we ate
(paella yumz though not the best)
and ate
and ate
and ate
because we lived next to this awesome glass market:
and our hostel had an awesome balcony:
other than that, we went to the royal palace and park(which actually pales in comparison to botanical gardens),
and watched a bullfight!!

ah the poor bull ): see that red viscous substance?? it's its blood ):
we watched at least 6 bulls getting killed. and at the end of every round the spanish stand up and wave white flags victoriously.
))): it looks so defeated
In Barcelona,we once again..
(no surprises) ate
and ate
and ate
rose shaped gelato!!
and drank sangria haha
and did silly things
(because we saw sg notes on the wall of our hostel)
OMG look at the gross pigeon that flew into our photo?? i know we look gross but the pigeon is even grosser!!!
but we also went to explore 'gaudi's barcelona'.
there was the sagrada familia:
but this isn't how it looks like in real life.
THIS is:
permanently under construction.
while watching meteor garden 2 to discover the legend of the golden tap (which will be unveiled later), daomingsi said in the show: what's so great about this it's just some grey stonish thing! and i think we kinda concur haha.
and there were his other buildings..
but the only nice one was park guell!

There was also the mountain that joel hiked up haha, with a church and amusement park at the top.
we also lazed around the beach:
and attempted the uncover the LEGEND OF THE SPRING OF KANA HAHA.

and the bf and i went for a date!
