Shifting Paradigms

Had a chat with Buk just now, din't talk to him for few weeks. Guessed he had changed. Yes people do change. I think I must agree with what he say, for the future, must mug. After all these few hundred days will determine the future. As what TYC said, the CEP all boils down to the A Level results. Academic excellence is still the foundation and the pre-requisite for future success. Yes, I'm determine to lay this foundation.

On a side note, the 33rd Students' Council is very interesting, just like the GE, we have a range of candidates from diverse backgrounds with diverse personalities. Will be interesting to see how they work out.

And yes I must say this, the SUST experience is something unparalleled. Working with people who have passion, vision and sincerity, dedicated to Huazhong - definitely a memorable experience. The few years of SUST have left a legacy on the then Chinese High School. It is indeed the epitome of true student leadership in Singapore. I guess no one can contest the previous statement I just made.

Just feeling nostalgic and here's a recollection of the SU pledge which I remember up till today.

We, the councillors of The Chinese High School,
Pledged to unite the school
And uphold the Hua Zhong Spirit
To serve the school with utmost pride and passion,
To be resilent and fighting strong in times of adversity
And be exemplary in word and in deed.
