Breast Cancer Patient Protection Act
Currently there are 2 bills one in the House (H.R.1691) the other the Senate (S.688) which will require insurance companies to pay for a minimum stay of 48 hours for women who have had a mastectomy. Can you imagine what it would be like to have a body part removed and then be sent home in a few hours after because your insurance would not pay?!? Outrageous!
