(no subject)
Woke up with my left eye partially swollen shut. I'm pretty sure it's not conjunctivitis the eye is fine, non-red ,or weepy it's just the lid. I think I got some ash in it from last night's fire. (I'm grateful to have a fireplace) Washed the eye out and it is better now only slightly swollen, but the lid is very sore to the touch. Will have to watch it for the next few days to see what it does.
My trip in to Seattle today was canceled when I got a call from my aunt who is arriving much earlier than I had anticipated. Say like tomorrow sometime with the weather is good up at the passes. I wished she'd given me more of a 'heads-up' so I could prepare a little more leisurely as now I'm scurrying around cleaning and trying to figure out how to make the office bigger so she'll have a room to sleep in. I look forward to seeing her.
