MCAT SCORES TOMORROW!!!!! *says last prayers*

I attended my cousin's wedding this weekend. First wedding ever attended; it went very nicely! My cousin and the bride were more than a bit nervous during the ceremony, and plenty of hilarity ensued. For example, they exchanged the wrong rings to one another! And both of them were very hesitant when kissing in front of everyone else, haha (they made up during the reception, though). It's strange to think about my cousin as a married man - he is only 8 years older than me, so I've known him since he was a kid. This is also the first marriage among our generation of the family tree... I figure that I will witness all my other cousins' weddings, followed by my younger brother's, before even bothering to think about the possibility :P

That may not be true, but I'm pretty sure my other cousin, Mabel, (the groom's younger sister) will marry pretty soon. She and John, her boyfriend, have been together for several years now. I think it's be awesome to think of John as a cousin-in-law, since he isn't Chinese and is in fact American-white. I don't idolize white people, but I take this into consideration: John spent a year in Beijing University, and has subsequently taken a huge interest in Chinese culture. He's travelled quite a few times into mainland China, he's well aware of the politics and social happenings in that country. He knows more Mandarin than I do, likes to watch those cheesy Chinese soap operas, and loves to sing Chinese karaoke. I am practically "white-washed" next to the guy! He majored in Physics and Computer Engineering, and has a job at a tech company; but since my cousin is finishing up medical school, John plans to follow her to whereever she does her residency. This is someone I'd like to consider as family. Also, thanks to Mabel and John, I now understand what it means to have my tongue loosened by alcohol. >.> <.<

It was great to see all my other relatives, most whom I haven't seen since college. Apparently I've changed a lot since then, although I'm pretty sure that relatives like to complement the young ones because of the suits they wear, not because of all the acne that plague their face (damn subaceous glands!....).

My father, whom I haven't seen in a year, treats me as if I am a responsible adult who knows exactly what he is doing. Eerie.
