Life Without You ( birthday fic for Ken) part 1

NOTE: making this into a series. Maybe 3 or 4 parts.
Summary: Ken's birthday is just around the corner, is he going to receive a surprise birthday party from his team members just like last year?
"Welcome! Welcome back to our zone!" Stell greeted everyone, smiling as he nodded and acknowledged the presence of Pablo, Justin and Josh inside the Zone's conference room. They are still on vacation but they need to meet inside their office for a meeting.
"Yo ma' boy Stell!" Pablo singsong, raising his right hand with WYAT sign. Stell made the same sign and connected with Pablo's then the two bumped their bodies against each other, tapping each other's backs.
Josh high five Stell, then both did the budots dance, laughing when they heard Justin shouted 'Juicekopo'. They both grinned and turned their attention to the youngest man and without any warning, grabs Justin from his shoulders and slams down on him. They wrestle Jah until the youngest shouted "Pablo, help me!"
Instead of helping Justin, Pablo joined the fun and started tickling Justin. The Bunso can only cry for help until his kuyas got tired and left him alone. They all sat down and Stell started the agenda of their meeting.
"So, ayun na nga, it is almost Ken's bday na. Any plans ba?" Stell asked.
"Ano nga ba?" Pablo second the motion.
"Eh ano pa nga ba? We'll greet him on his birthday." Josh said.
"Alangan naman hindi natin batiin si Ken." Justin sarcastically said, smirking at Josh.
Josh caught Justin's expression and started moving beside him, slowly, like a predator, watching his next victim. He planned to grab Justin's shoulder again and wrestle him but Justin was able to read Josh moves so he jumped out of his chair and sat away from Josh.
"Tama!" Stell exclaimed much to everyone's surprise. "We are not going to greet him. Let Ken think that we forgot his birthday." Stell continue, eyes brightening at the idea forming in his mind.
"Ha? Obvious naman masyado yun." Pablo contradicted.
"No. We don't have any schedule until next week right? We'll tell Ken we're going somewhere or we'll be doing something else. We'll sound like we are so busy that we totally forgot his birthday. Like, for example, Jah you will be travelling to elyu to film for your vlog on Ken's bday. Josh will be with his family cos they'll be leaving soon and they will be out somewhere, Pau you will be busy writing songs." Stell suggested
"Wow ha. Eh ikaw? Anong reason mo?" Pablo scornfully looked at Stell. Still not liking the idea of him writing songs to forget Ken's birthday. Andaming reason bakit 'yun pa? Awit Naman.
"Ako na ang bahala sakin. Basta kayo make it real. Dapat believable talaga yung reasons ninyo." Stell said with conviction.
"Okay, then asan ang surprise?" Josh asked, still confused.
"I will be the surprise!" Stell shouted
Josh and Pablo were too stunned to speak.
Justin's laughter echoed inside the conference room, breaking the silence that formed within the room. He finally got what Stell's plan was. Still confused, Josh said, "Ang labo mo kausap." Scratching the top of his head.
Justin moved back to Josh and hugged him from behind. Then whispered something in Josh's ear. Josh expression was disbelief and his eyes widened while looking back at Justin.
"Totoo?" He asked, still shocked.
"Oh, baka gusto nyo iShare samin ni Pablo yang mga bulungan ninyo." Stell shouted, he needed to because it looks like two were having their Marites moments.
"Stell, totoo ba?" Josh asked.
"Na ano?" Stell answered back.
"You're going to confess to Ken na?" Josh frankly stated.
"Ayun pala ang plano. Eh bakit tinawag mo pa kami dito?" Pablo sarcastically said.
"Oi bujah! Kung ano ano chinichismis mo dyan Kay Josh. Alam mo naman paniwalain yan eh " Stell denied, if only his stare could kill, Justin would have been on the floor catching his last breath by now.
"Sorry na. Ang cute kasi ni Josh eh. Hahahaha. Paniwalang paniwala." Justin chuckled, making a peace sign to Stell but get cornered by Josh in an instant.
"Ahh..ganun pala ah. Cute pala ha." Josh pushed Justin in one of the chairs and leaned towards him. Faces so close to each other that they can feel each other's breathing.
Josh stared hard at Justin's eyes, his goal was to scare the younger man and put him in his place but something unexpected happened. Some feelings he tried hard to conceal but now it slowly revealing itself to him.
"Tama na Yan. Jah, behave na, stop playing around. Josh, quiet ka na. Stell, explain to us your plan. Yung malinaw na explanation okay? And make sure na worth it pagtravel namin dito sa office dyan sa plano mo." Pablo commanded like a true alpha. Inis na siya kasi hindi niya mafigure out kung ano ibig sabihin ni Stell sa he will be the surprise on Ken's birthday.
Everyone turned their attention to Stell who is now biting his lower lip. Pablo in a serious mood means business. He silently pray that his plan will be agreed by them specially Pablo.
"Heto kasi yun.."
Earlier that day...
It was the seventh day of January and Ken was busy finalizing his upcoming next single. He was bouncing at the music when his phone vibrate and saw Stell's chat.
"Ken, condo ka?"
"Yah, why?"
"Ahh..busy?"
"Oo eh." Ken replied back. He repeated the song again, trying to jive into the music when Stell replied again.
"Okay sige, nangungumusta lang."
Hmnnn weird. Stell will not send him a message just to check if he's okay specially if they just talked yesterday. Anyways, he needed to finish this for the final demo so they can release this song on his birthday.
Stell knew Ken was busy but he just want to make sure that he will not visit their studio today. He asked the others to meet him in the office to talk about Ken's upcoming birthday.
"Okay, here's the plan. No one will greet Ken, not even his parents, close friends, staff and even us. Then we'll surprise him by gathering everyone in one place to celebrate his birthday. So I will schedule a flight for his parents so they can come and visit Ken here and send invites to those close friends he has in the city. What do you think?"
"Hmn, pwede na." Pablo agreed.
"So whose gonna fund it?" Josh questioned. Stell knew he will ask.
"We'll chip in a little just for emergency lang just in case we'll run out of budget. But the management already gave us money to spend."
"Okay, so what will be our assignments?" Jah inquired, taking his phone and ready to type notes.
"Jah, you will be in-charge of the decors. Pablo, you need to find a place that we can use. Josh, you'll do the budgeting. I'll take care of tito and tita. This will not only be for Ken's birthday. We all know he will be releasing his new song so it's going to be a double celebration."
"Okay!" Everyone shouted in unison. Now that they have a clear plan, they finally got excited.
"Hoy." Jah put one arm over Stell's shoulder and motion for the him to slow down as they walk towards their cars in the parking lot. Their meeting ended early and they decided to start working on their assigned tasks.
"What?" Stell asked
"Akala ko ba.."
"Pwes mali yang akala mo." Stell countered. He knew what Jah was talking about but he doesn't want to entertain it. Not yet.
"Kelan mo balak magsabi?" Jah insisted, still not letting go of the subject he really was trying hard to avoid
"Bahala na. Time will tell. Saka ikaw ha, tigil tigilan mo kakachismis kay Josh. Alam mo naman matinik yun sa mga sekreto eh." Stell warned Justin. Justin chuckled and said in a warning tone, "Bahala ka. Pag nasundot pa yang si Suson ng iba, iyak ka malala ka talaga."
"Oo na. Sabi nang wag na makulit eh." Stell shooed away Justin and opened the door of his car. He stared hard, felt something bad may happen but he cannot pinpoint what it was. He just suddenly had this crazy nagging feeling when Justin warned him about Ken being snatch away from him.
A few days after
"Yes tita, I just sent to your email the reference number of your flight po. I'll check you in na din po para less hassle when you go to the airport." Stell reminded Ken's mother and when she confirmed that she already received the email of their flight, they said goodbye on the phone.
Stell looked at his task list and mark those that he already accomplished

Stell doesn't know what kind of gift he will buy for Ken and out of all the tasks in his list, it's the most troublesome. What more can Felip Jhon Suson needed that he cannot buy?
Surely Ken already completed his one piece toy collection when he went to Japan. He was using the latest iphone, he got all the musical instruments he needed to create songs. Shoes. Clothes. Food. Cake. Ahh.. I think I know what to buy for Ken. Stell excitedly jumped on his feet and went out to go to the nearest mall.
Ken and his team finally approved the final cut of his new song. They are ready to release it along with the MV that they shot in Japan. Everyone from his team were all tired but excited. They kept this a secret from A'Tin and his sisiws but he knew nothing ever really escape their eagle like eyes.
"Finally, I was able schedule the MV to post in your YouTube channel and release the song simultaneously in different platforms at exactly 12 am, January 12 PH time. So everyone, thank you for your hard work. You can go home now, take a rest and see you again." Their tech engineer announced and everyone started to say their goodbyes to each other.
"Congrats Felip!" Ken bowed to everyone, saying goodbye and asking them to take care as they go home. He said goodbye to the tech engineers, the facility man, thanking them for their hard work and support and then walk out of the studio.
It was the 11th of January, 10 pm. 2 hours from now and it will be his 26th birthday. He cannot contain his excitement for the new song and A'TIN reaction towards it. Will they like it? He already performed it during one of Ppop concert and he received a lot of positive responses from them.
It will be the best gift he can give them. A'Tin and his sisiws supported him without asking for anything in return. They provide their time streaming his Bulan which already reached 2m views in YouTube and until now he was amazed by how powerful they can be. They continue to vote for him in Wish awards. He was lucky for having them beside him all throughout his musical journey at this early stage of his career. Not only that, they also supported his clothing line, Superiorson. He can't thank them enough. Guess he needed to continue working hard, learn and explore more so he can give the best to them. They deserve it.
Speaking of gift and birthday, he saw some greetings already but his SB19 GC remain quiet. He opened his fb account and saw some posts from the boys.
Jah's status - road trip going to Elyu. Will not have signal so I will be unreachable. 🎶unreachable, unreachable 🎶

Josh - spending time with my family. Going to miss them when they go back in LA. Do not disturb. (Josh will surely miss his cousins)
Pablo - busy writing songs. (Pablo must be in his zone right now and doesn't want to be disturbed, he will get freaking crazy if someone ever did.)
Stell posted a pic with his highschool friends. Hindi pa din ba tapos reunion nila? Ken thought quietly. His eyes caught Stell's gorgeous eyes. Something in the pic made him stare harder at Stell. Stell's aura is different in this pic. Yes, Stell is handsome but he is glowing. It looks like he is in love.
Turning his head to the side as if clearing his thoughts of something he shouldn't even think about, he continue to scroll and saw Mavs and Joshuel's posts. Guess he was the only one not busy tonight.
"Pau, andito na kami, can we go in na ba?" Stell shouted. He just fetched Ken's parents in the airport and they are now in front of a private resort that Pablo rented.
"Sure. I just opened the gate." Stell maneuvered the car and once parked, he helped Ken's mother out of the car.
"Do you like it tita?" It was a bouquet of pink Carnation he bought for Ken's mom. The florist recommended the flower to him when he said he will give it as present to his friend's mom.
"Oo Naman. Thank you Stell." Inhaling the sweet scent. Stell offered his arm to Ken's mom and they both walk towards the entrance of the house, tagging Ken's father behind. The other boys stopped what they were doing to greet Ken's parents. They talked for a while and then went back to their tasks to finish on time.
"Teka, pano pala pupunta si Ken dito?" Pablo asked out of curiosity. They never talked about it. It was never included in their plans.
"Ahh si Kuya Yani na bahala kay Kentot." Jah answered back without giving Pablo a glance. He was seriously busy creating a balloon design that associate with Ken.
"Jah, ano ba yan mukhang dinosaur na malnourish naman yan." Josh complained but Jah just stuck his tongue out and made funny faces to Josh.
"They're here." Stell excitedly shouted. Kuya Yani texted him that they are close to the resor
