[Aries, wide eyed and very alert by the sounds coming from deep inside the tree's heart, walks down the darkened tunnel] Everyone? Where are you?

[A sound comes from a pod to your right, and shrieks come from it as the person in the pods' eyes open...a root forms to take the shape of a little girl with a headless teddy bear.]

[Aries runs over to the pod, horrified at the sight] What! [He makes a swift turn around] Who is behind this?

[The little girl-clone looks up at you with wide eyes, clutching at the bear.]

...Niisan? Why are you so mean to me? Why did you tear off Teddy's head?

[The girl then giggles, but it's a pained, insane sort of laugh, and her eyes seem to look at you ferally as her mouth contorts itself into a sort of manaiacal grin. Vines are coming from her body, aiming for you...]

Niisan! Play with me! Play with me again! I'll play with you like you did Teddy!

Niisan? [He is grabbed by the vines and still facing back to the girl] The hell? What's going on, I am not your brother!

[The girl clone simply giggles again, her eyes roving hungrily.]

You're so mean, big brother!

[Her eyes roll a bit, before refocusing.]

Biiiiig broooootherrrrrrr...I want to plaaaaaaayyyyyyy...it's a fun game we play here...together...

[The vines tauten. It appears that she wants to attempt ripping off a limb or two, Aries. You might want to try escaping while her grip is still loose.]

[Aries grunts and squirms, he does manages to break free of the vine grasp. He's going to run like hell away, deeper into the tree]

[The little girl cannot go too far away from the pod, so she eventually withers into nothingness, the shrieks from the pods dying down to soft cries of "Niisan...niisan..."]

Since Aries is deeper in the tree, there are less pods about...and the louder of the cries, the one that is able to make itself heard above the others, is yet louder.]

I want to help...please...please don't...hurt...I'm sorry...I'm sorry...

[Aries is well aware of the cries for help, but he keeps his distance. He wants to find a way out, but instead he just goes deeper and deeper in the tree god]

[This room is nearly empty, it is almost like an antechamber of some sort. There's a pulsating light in the center of the room-it's an orb of some sort. Pictures are flashing across the orb, each a snapshot of time...voices echo from it.]

But...what is this place? Why is there an older version of us here?

It's called the Dressing Room. It has multiple versions of people here. Apparently I am the oldest Yuusei here.

[The orb flickers, but doesn't change in any way. Another memory flashes through.]

Niisan...don't worry. We won't let your Earthbound God get loose again. We just have to keep our emotions in check, that's all.
