Spring Cleaning
[There are mimeographed signs posted on noticeboards all over the DR. For once, Necrofear is not lurking nearby to see who reads them.]

My dear Godwin has informed me that your numbers have well-exceeded the Ministry of Culture's threshold for duplicates, so do present yourselves promptly for tagging. The same goes for any members of other species who have flown in quite sneakily under the radar.
Note that your fancy and fabulous Minister of Culture will be on the roof today rather than in her room, and additionally note that she finds the great outdoors rather greater when her supplicants present her with fresh seasonal fruits and refreshing beverages.
[And Necrofear herself is indeed on the roof, wearing elbow-length rubber gloves and a cheery floral sun dress. The clothing is necessary because she's taken off all her torso plating and is giving it a thorough scrubbing and polishing on every surface, along with the nuts and bolts that hold the pieces in place. Her toddler has been fitted snugly with a harness and tethered to a pole to prevent it from getting tentacle-prints all over her work or from managing to fall over the edge.]
