[Smoke and the tell-tale scent of burnt food is issuing from the crack beneath a door. Inside, Mana can be found, looking rather frazzled as she dashes about, searching desperately for those oven mitts she'd just picked up. She has a rather bad feeling about the meal she'd been trying to create, but then, she'd never done much for cooking back in

"Ehhh..?" Shou's been doing fairly well as far as ingredients and cooking- largely because he thrives on a diet of sandwiches most of the time ANYWAY, and the DR apparently draws the line at making your own peanut butter.

Smelling the smoke however, has him rushing for Mana's door. "AHHH!! Hey! Are you alright in there..!?"

[At this point, she's managed to stop any potential fires, and is looking at her ruined meal in a rather disappointed manner. She looks over her shoulder to see who's come in, and sends a weak smile Shou's way]

I'm okay! It just looks like I'll be going hungry for a while...

"Aaaah!!" No no no you can't!

And in he runs! "You can't just starve! What about things that don't need cooking? You could eat those..!"

Oh! Well I'm sure I could, but I'm not too familiar with "modern" food I suppose; what do you think I should have?

"Mmnnn, there's lots of things..! There's salad, or a sandwich..."

[magicianofrock]

[Sandwich... well she's never heard of one of those, but hearing "sand" reminds her of Egypt, and therefore home]

What's a sandwich like?

"Ah, well lets see..." Opening something and...

Bread! "A sandwich is something you make with two slices of bread and a bunch of other things in the middle. There are lots of different kinds though..."

[She takes two slices of bread and moves them from hand to hand thoughtfully; this whole sandwich things sounds like a good idea to her.]

What kinds of sandwich do you prefer?

WHAT SORT OF QUESTION-

"Ahhhh... All kinds..!!! Sometimes I have a ham sandwich, or a peanut butter banana and banana sandwich..." Though admittedly, the last one is more of a DR related one...

"There's almost no limit!!"

[Sandwiches are more complicated than she'd originally anticipated...]

What a fantastic food! I think I'd like to try the peanut butter banana and banana sandwich first!

[And now to rifle through the cupboards for peanut butter!]

"Ah- I'll get the bananas then! The peanut butter should be a brown colour- it'll be in a plastic jar..."

[After a few minutes of digging, Mana has managed to extract a jar of peanut butter. As she waits for Shou to return. she dips a finger tip in to sample the stuff]
Mmm...

BANANAS- ....Are here. Shou has the bread as well, but catching sight of Mana with the peanut butter jar gets a loud laugh. "AHA- We could get spoons for that you know..!" ...Shou does that mean you eat all the peanut butter at home too?

That is horrible.

[She grins sheepishly and cleans the remaining peanut butter off her finger]

Let's get to work on these! I'm starving!

"Yea~! Okay..." Putting things on table...

"First we need a knife for the bananas, and a knife for the peanut butter!"

[magicianofrock]

[She's pretty sure that she saw some silverware in a drawer when she was searching for the peanut butter earlier; a quick look there and..]

Here we go! Now what?
