[One wonders if the clerks of the lesser used, sometimes never seen shops of the hotel must get bored, and even welcome the troublesome, thieving residents that appear.
If so, the one nearby isn't batting an eye either way at the girl who eventually gave up asking him to pull out anything she spotted, and instead started sliding the displays open

Cassandra is hoping he hasn't gotten into too much trouble - he does like to roam, after all - but is wandering with an eye out for him regardless. He'll come home if he gets hungry, she trusts, but....
What is that young lady doing?
Cassandra wanders over.]
Ah, excuse me. I believe you're supposed to ask for assistance.

[Seiran looks up- and freezes at the sight of an Isis. She- hasn't met one of you in a long time, miss!
So do excuse the stare for a moment, then. Before she remembers to be embarrassed and pulls her hands out of the case to wave at the blank faced clerk.]
Ah, sorry- It just seemed easier! I kept having to ask him..

[She saw that reaction, though...]
...have we met, perhaps? Or rather - are you acquainted with another of my kind?
[It's odd to think about there being multiple hers running around. But all these Maliks have to have sisters somewhere...]

[That could have been an awkward 'am I rambling?' pause, or just an uncomfortable one. Possibly both, given she stretches her grin back with purpose.
Putting down a pile of rings and bracelets, she freed up a hand to fold over the other for a casual greeting bow.]
I'm Akino Seiran.

Isis Ishtar. Though it seems you're aware.
A pleasure to meet you, Miss Akino.

[She laughs a bit, then catches herself.]
Sorry, it's just- [Instead of scratching her head, maybe she should clean up the mess she made as she talks.]
I'm not used to being the older one of us.

[Being a helpful girl, Cassandra will assist.]
Are there...many...of myself here? I haven't many acquaintances.

[She'll give a thankful look for it then, since she's grateful.
But one should note she's being oddly careful where to put things- like she's keeping track of what she's pulled out, and what not.]
But, maybe they're just keeping to themselves? It's a big place.

So it would seem.
[She looks down. Keeping to themselves....she tends to do that, doesn't she? But she shouldn't. She should find Sayyid some friends to play with, some positive influences.
Is she ashamed of him? Afraid?
She feels like she's failing him.]

The older girl here is getting a curious stare- once she catches on that look isn't a continued "why are you pilfering a jewelry display?" scorn.]
Is something wrong?

[She does her best to smile, but the troubled look remains.]

[A problem she doesn't have to worry about anymore, but thinking of the biggest reason why has her looking awkwardly at the jewelry she's messing with, just a beat after the compulsive grin.]
But, maybe the ones I would know are keeping with her own group- or gone home.

[Whatever Sayyid has had to deal with in his life, he has to go right back to it someday. She can only provide him a temporary respite. She can only do so much.
She hopes it's enough to help.]
I presume returning is as arbitrary as arriving?

[But imagining herself - or others - going home is a sore spot from many directions, and she's frowning at the different buzzing thoughts...
Until she realizes she's turning some heavily jeweled and over-sized ring on a finger as she thinks.
So she puts it down with a scrunching nose. A quick, nicely "I don't care haha!" tone.]
You can get pulled here and go and come back at anytime!

You're well-educated with the workings of this place, Miss Akino. Have you been here long?
[She sounds a little worried about you, now. She didn't mean to make you upset or fretting. Apparently she's contagious. :(]

[Though she marks more by holidays than dates, so who knows how much longer.
The point is she shrugs at her own answer.]
I don't know how it works either- it's better not to think about it.
