Mali got caught in an endless circle of pounce as a kitten, too. And though it wasn't threaded out, since Lily also got kittified Luna shall be spending all her time until further notice trying to get white cat fluff off of her clothes. HOW DID IT GET EVERYWHERE.
Dark RPG stuff! The adventurer writeups I've seen so far sound good. So the following to-dos are for the next few weeks for our Dark RPG folks:
Adventurers: Give me a list of three special weapons or skills your characters have! For example:
Candy is going to be my adventurer. She's an elf priest, and she's got:
-A magical staff! This helps her raise her friends' defense at the cost of her own.
-The Ring, still. In game, this creates a shield, protecting the eternal landlord (and anyone else who happens to be around.)
-A healing spell for shallow wounds.
Dark Masters need three weapons or skills as well (remember, these are allowed to be more powerful.) In addition, I would like to be PMed a more detailed outline of your "world" and the path you anticipate the adventurers taking through it, as well as what you're writing into the story to guide them onto this path. Tell me the plot of your campaign, basically! The more detail the better, particularly if there's a dungeon portion: What are in the rooms? What kinds of monsters or traps will they face? Etc.
Right now we only have two Dark Masters - Anzu and Brunch - so there's still room for one more, maybe two but it sounds like most people are only playing one or two adventurers. PMs should be sent to one of my RP accounts (this one, backseatduelist, touzoku-kakumei, etc) or my personal (made_in_wonder -- mod account notifs aren't sent to my email.
NPCs need to glom onto a Dark Master to be sure they're included in the writeup. I am totally up for filling Brunch's Ancient Egypt with NPCs, so if you don't mind that "flavor" give me a poke!
As for how actually organizing adventurer parties is concerned....anybody know right now which adventure they're leaning towards? If everyone has a good idea ahead of time we can establish "traveling parties" pregame.
ON THAT NOTE, people interested in playing Brunch's AE world: what format do you prefer between LJ, IRC, and AIM? I have experience with all three formats so I'm cool with letting the majority rule on that. If we do LJ I'll just...try really hard to stay "up" on the thread for you guys, as that's my only concern with that format. <3 <3
As always, questions comments concerns are welcome. Particularly since I wrote this in a bit of a daze. I may have decided "I'll lie down for a few minutes" and then woke up a few hours later. Ooops.

Anyways, I'll get to work on that PM... If I wind up in Brunch's world, I think AIM is best myself... <-< I gotta talk to Gale though, we were thinking of sending out adventurers into the same 'game'. xD

If people are having trouble picking an adventure to play in or add NPCs to, or knowing what they're picking, maybe we can have an adventure sign-up before diving in? Like, here's the worlds to pick from, which would you like to join?
It shouldn't keep others from hopping on on the spot, but it might help incorporate the other characters into plot building more, give another change for collabing side things, and arranging group tagging?
