[There is a young Isis - dressed in modern clothes, no less - standing outside a candy shop, an open box of gourmet chocolates in her hand. There's one missing, and she's chewing, hand paused halfway to her mouth.
She'd told herself she wouldn't have any, that she was taking them home to reward good behavior if Alarm and that - creature - that came out of the egg behaved themselves. But everything smelled and looked so good, and, well....
Staring down at the box, she sighs and swallows. One might not be enough. She tries hard to control her sweet tooth, to set a good example for her brother (biological or adoptive).
But she's a girl whose favorite food is om ali, and this is a sweets event. A harsh test indeed.
