SO THE DRAMA

[Lotus is sitting on the edge of the fountain in the lobby, letting her hand drift in the water. She looks... wistful and distant. She hasn't said anything to Bloom - she doesn't know anything for certain, but she's not an idiot

Is something wrong?

[Lotus lifts her head at his voice, glancing over at him. After a moment, she looks away.]

It's nothing, Bakura...

[He sits beside her.]

Are you sure?

[eternal_samsara]

[She looks around uncertainly. She doesn't want to accuse him of anything, but...]

What have you been off doing so often, lately...?

[He chuckles slightly.]

Do you just want to see more of me?

[eternal_samsara]

[She shifts, folding her legs together. Maybe an indirect path would be best. She lowers her head, speaking quietly.]

You aren't... bored of me, are you?

[kingofkulelna]

[He seems slightly shocked at this accusation.]

Of course not. Why would you think something like that?

Mmmm...

[She gingerly reaches over and plucks one of the stray ~BLONDE~ hairs his robe has been bound to pick up over the last few days.]

A hair?

[He doesn't really get what she's trying to say by pulling a hair from his robe, he doesn't get the significance of the colour either.]

You've been with other people...

[She doesn't sound accusatory so much as just... sad. There are only so many reasons for someone's hair to be on your clothes, after all. and since she's talking to both of his flings in other threads it might just come out anyway]

Is that what you're upset about?

[He doesn't sound joking or mad or anything, if anything his voice is softer which is a pretty rare thing.]

[She doesn't really respond, just looking at her hands folded in her lap, but she does look fairly heartbroken when he doesn't deny or explain it. ;;]

[He pauses, debating if trying to touch her is going to make things worse or not.]

...Riu, you are my wife, you are more important to me.

[HE FINALLY SAYS THE W WORD.]

Ah... I just worry you're going to run off with somebody else..

[He wraps an arm around her.]
