Just like they had in the village, with the difference that the amount of crushed mushroom was twice the amount he'd been given in the ritual. [Kiryu says nothing else, for now. He just watches.]

All right. It's ready.

[It was...hard for Kiryu to watch. He forced himself to watch. He didn't know why.]

[It's a yes. It was close. But the stronger dose...Yuusei leans down, looking into Jack's eyes]

He can't hear you. Not like that.

[Yuusei doesn't respond. He's watching Jack, watching his eyes.]

[Meanwhile, one of those 'stupid new pets' has ceased to be a pet, finally. PDD, who fell asleep in Jack's spare bedroom earlier as a small Arceus, has now woken up back to normal as a human. And naked. The nakedness doesn't bother him, strictly speaking, but as most other humans don't tend to be comfortable with such things he looks around and finds a pair of Kiryu's pants in a drawer.]

[And so, very shirtless and planning to give Jack a piece of his mind regarding claiming ownership over creatures that are actually your friends in altered forms, PDD strides out into the main part of Jack's apartment.]
