[He looks up from his hand held display and stares at her in polite confusion for a moment.]

I'm sorry, ma'am, but I think you have me mistaken for someone else. I'm not the director of anything that I know of.

[She suddenly notices that this man's hair isn't as gray as the Rex Godwin she knows. . .Still. . .]

[She pauses and holds out her hand politely to shake his.]

The last time I checked I was in a the lobby of a hotel in Domino City. Maybe you think you're in a "dimensional rift" or what have you, but I'm sure that's none of my business.

[He turns to leave.] Great, the last thing I need is to be seen with a psychiatric hospital escapee.

[She pouts slightly, catching what he said last. However, she's used to being insulted by Jaeger and Jack, so she doesn't take too much offense. . .]

[He stares out the front bay of doors, at the... field and trees. There weren't trees there when he came in. There was a busy street.

[She stops behind him and notices the confused look upon his face. She realizes he must noticing that something is different about the area.]

[He spins around to check the rest of the lobby. No, there isn't another front door he could have come in. He turns again to march out the doors and snap his gaze around at the scenery. The very green, very not downtown Domino scenery.]

[She blinks, surprised by his use of language. But she reminds herself that this is a younger version of her employer, so. . .]

Don't get ahead of yourself. I'm sure there's a rational explanation for all this.

[He slowly takes several steps forward. Even the most convincing hologram still can't be truly solid, so if this is one he'll be stepping off the curb in front of the hotel any second now. ... Aaaany second now.]
