Community Notice
I'm fairly sure most of you have already made it known that you are participating, but I wanted to drop a line to let you know to please inform us if you are entering a piece for the yaoi/shounen-ai side or the het side of the challenge. We need to know so that (a)when it's time for us to start the voting and judging process we know which judge to direct where and (b)so we know whether or not to even keep the het category.
I say this because I came across a post on a community today (the post has since been deleted) bitching that the rules still stated that the challenge is shounen-ai only although they had been updated when the decision to add the category was made. apollymi - who opened up the het side because the_sweet offered to be the judge for that category - was beyond pissed when she saw it and came very close to shutting that off today. I managed to persuade her to wait out a week before making a decision.
So, really, if you are a community member and plan to enter the het side, send off an email to ygo.novella@gmail.com to let us know that you are participating.
If you're entering on the shounen-ai side, drop a line too if you haven't already (although that's not in danger of being dropped ^^;)
