I was listen to the radio this morning while navigating the dangerously icy roads of B'vue and heard "What its Like" by Everlast. I thought: "Oh, how lovely, a song from middle school about the downtrodden masses!"
Then I realized that the radio station was editing out all the potentially offensive terminology. For your information examples of these words are whore (to be expected); drugs; any reference to guns; the words smoked AND weed.
In case you are not familiar with this ditty, these omissions renders the song a four minute stretch of sentence fragments that mean nothing and lots of clever bleeping techniques that sound like an over-eager DJ who has shaky hands.
