Eretz HaKodesh

Hey all!
I am in Israel, partying it up while trying to figure out where to do my laundry. I'm staying with my friend Yosef right now, but I'm going to have to find somewhere else soon. He's busy and there are other people who want to stay with him.
The tour was fun in the end though I did get pretty irritated at small details like the immense stupidity of some of the girls, the incompetence of the organizers, the attempted brainwashing by Neve Yerushalayim (girls' yeshiva), etc. I had to constantly explain that when I learn about, say, my soul and its many layers I would like to learn about MY soul, not how to find a special someone who will match my soul perfectly. I swear, every class apart from Rabbi Green and Rebbetzin Heller's were about relationships - finding one, being in one, knowing if you're in the right one etc etc ad nauseum. Then, in the touring parts of the trip the madrichot would start asking which boys we like, what kind of guy we want, and then offering to find say males for us to MARRY!!!!
Ack. Speaking of which, I should probably update y'all about the wedding season.
But first, let me tell you all that my grandfather, who only two or three of you ever met, passed away the day after I got to Israel. I was not able to see him before her died, but I did attend the funeral and stayed for part of the shiva. Please think of him if you knew him, and know that he is, after a lifetime of struggling, finally at peace, reunited with his beloved wife, my grandmother. Zikhrono L'Veracha, May his memory be blessed.
In any case, my cousin got married the day after the funeral, and the wedding was the most beautiful I could imagine. In other wedding news, my friends Sarah and Nick got married and my friends Josh and Lauren got married this month. Mazal tov to them! My friend from England, Sharon Widdowfield is getting married at the beginning of August and my other cousin is getting married at the end of August. After that my friends Robin and Kevin are getting married in Portland over Labor Day Weekend. Wow! That a lot, eh? Oh, and next year my baby brother will marry. Wow!
Let me know if any of you want something from Israel, but please make it small and easy to pack! I will also be going to the Kotel (Western Wall) so if you have a prayer that you want taken there, I'd be more than willing.
Kisses and hugs!
