Ygdrasil is developing a serious antipathy toward hollywood "romcoms". in theory romcom= romantic comedy so one would expect both elements in a 'romcom'.
WARNING incoming rant...
Romance is more or less a form of love where emotions are rates over logic or actions. And comedy implies that there is going to be something funny, humorous or amusing. Hollywood needs to read their Wiki on the topic because it is unable to achieve either element.
The most recent trailer I saw was yet another attempt to convice the world that Anniston can act, it was unfunny, unintelligent and unromatic. I would never pay to see the movie and I resent being subjected to the trailer. A girl being locked in the boot of a car is not a subject of humor, (though watching Anniston being so treated could be funny under the right conditions). A man chaining his exwife to a bed where she pretends to have sex with him to get to his pistol is not romatic, (and wholly untitilating if that is what they were trying for). One of the most woefull things about this trailer is that other people in the cinema, well trained by hollywood, laughed in all the right places despite the complete lack of comedy.
