G-DRAGON is attracting much attention with his enormous amount of copyright revenue from his music.
On Nov 11, SBS’s ‘Good Morning’ revealed last year’s ranking of copyright revenue, and Park Jin Young with 1.2 billion won ranked at the very top.
Park Jin Young was followed by Cho Young Soo, Teddy and Yoo Young Jin, in this order. But what aroused most attention was BIGBANG’s leader G-DRAGON, who recorded a whopping 790 million won in total. He ranked 5th.
Internet users who saw the news on G-DRAGON’s copyright revenue commented, “G-DRAGON is even one of the top in copyright revenue,” “G-DRAGON’s copyright revenue proves he is a genius artist,” “G-DRAGON’s copyright revenue shows he’s not simply a good-looking musician,” and “Wow, this is surprising.”
The amount revealed on the show is pre-tax, thus the actual figure is different to what was revealed.
