Remember me?
It's been a really long time since I updated this thing. I'm on my lunch break right now at work and figured I'd update my life a little bit. Maybe so you guys who care even the slightest bit can get a little recap.
Lets see, where do I start? Summer is over and boy was it a good one. My girlfriend, Lissa, was down here the entire summer. I can honestly say that I am in love with that woman. She's practically perfect (except for a short temper and mean right hook lol). I got to celebrate her birthday with her with an awesome night at Nocturnal where we got two bottles and got destroyed. We shared all sorts of moments... from your cheesey "I love you ::insert pet name here::" to the occasional slap on the ass... lol we had a great summer together.
I also got initiated into the bonds of one of the tightest brotherhoods any many could ever share, the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity (PIKE). PIKE has done a lot for me. Before going greek, I hated FIU and even considered quitting school. Now I'm an active brother in the fraternity and look forward to becoming more involved in school and in my chapter.
This leads me to my next accomplishment this summer: I'M MOVING OUT OF MY HOUSE! Finally! After months and months of talking about it I finally do it! This Friday, August 26th, I move into a single room at the FIU PIKE house. I finally get to feel the real college experience with all the liberty that comes with living on your own. Someone does need to teach me how to wash and iron my clothes... that's gonna be quite the hassle.
So in the fall I'll be living at the house, going to school full time, and working as much as possible to keep all my bills in line. Wish me luck, because I'm finally 100% part of the "real world."
I think thats about it for now. I promise I'll try to update this thing more often.
