a portrait of two teachers

Aug 30, 2012 15:56

Teacher's Day is around the corner, and since The Bun has enjoyed playschool so much, I thought he should draw a picture for his teachers in appreciation of them. I didn't help him do anything at all, except signing his name, but I did ask him to draw what his teachers did in school and what they liked to do. This is what he came up with:

The two teachers are quite obvious. The Bun told me that Teacher S 'likes flowers' and is always getting things from the toy shelf, so that's what he drew her with. I'm not sure what the big green blob in the middle is. I think the many fish are a reference to the fishy activity they did about a month ago. Quite telling is also his attention to detail where the snacks are concerned: the yellow square is a cracker, the blue circle is 'blueberries on a plate', and there is a green pear, a yellow apple (with a 'very long stalk'), and a couple of tomatoes in there too.

I think his teachers will like this picture when he gives it to them tomorrow.
