sister snap

No matter how old we get, we never seem to lose the ability to leap into this sort of silliness in a snap. Years ago we used to waste money play with those purikura (otherwise known as Neoprint) machines, with hilarious and memorable results. I still have those small, postage-sized prints in a photo album, and they are wonderful treasures, capturing us in high spirits, one moment in time.

My sister's fiancee, who took this set of pictures with an iPhone app, was amazed at how easily our 'choreography' just fell into place. Very few words were necessary; we just assumed each pose like actors playing familiar roles onstage. Throughout all this, The Bun cackled gleefully in his high chair, the dog sat, puzzled nearby, and our parents just shook their heads at their adult daughters.

I love this set of photos.
