SUMMARY: Ryo seeks an escape, and he finds it with friends. (For sanjihan, who gave me "Kanjani8/NewS - a species of delirium" as a prompt, and for some reason this morning I woke up wanting to write a Ryo/drug fic, and this is how I took it.)

Ryo doesn't ever bother cutting the white pills in half; he likes the full effect.
I reread this sentence three times because I was just in awe. It tells you just how desperate he is for the escape but, like the rest of this story, it's so relaxed about it. It's hard to think of it as a bad thing when it's so chill and matter-of-fact. I love that you achieved that so effortlessly.

Loves those crazy fuckers that always pop up when those sweet bits touch his tongue and dissolve.

I also love how you made both groups different drugs with different effects for different sorts of escape. Ingenious and fantastic.

AND THEN THE END. Again, it's treated as though it's no big deal, just a logical answer to his problem and it's hard to see that really he's killing himself to be with them and it's just so subtle and under-the-radar that I feel sad but can't be sure why even though I really know. Agh. This was awesome. :D Thank you!

I'm glad you liked it! I was a little worried, since some people really don't like drug use, but the prompt... was... so... PERFECT. For the weirdness that I wanted to write, anyways.

And, of course, K8 and NEWS would be different drugs ;)
