She didn't like the smiles they exchanged.

She didn't like the butterfly kisses placed on her cheek.

The hours spent in the forest, laughing and talking.

She didn't like the way her heart broke in silence and no one heard her.

She didn't like being heartbroken and not being able to count on him anymore.

*

"Nessie, come here!"

Jacob ran around chasing the toddler around and around the backyard.

His eyes sparkled with the happiness and Nessie laughed with all the joy in the world.

She stood in silence, watching them.

She watched her grow.

She watched him falling in love.

And she watched herself learning to hate.

*

"I don't like having Jacob over every day," she says, tangled in Edward's limbs.

"Is that so?"

"Yes, I don't like the way he looks at Renesmee."

Edward knows perfectly well what's dwelling in her cold, unbending heart.

He looks at her they way he used to look at me and I'm not getting used to it.

*

She's sleeping in her bed and Bella decided to take a chance.

"Jacob?"

He's observing the girl, then (forcefully) looks at Bella.

"What?"

"Do you still love me?"

He remains silent, his mind running a thousand miles a minute.

How can he tell her the truth?

"Uh, yes, I do."

She smiles, "Really?"

She walks to him and kisses him on his jawline.

Tantalizingly close to his lips.

"What are you doing?"

"Loving you."

"Not in that way, Bella. That part's over."

He pushes her away, eyes clouded in amazement.

She hates what he's become; a love struck fool.

*

She hates him for turning her into this monster.

She hates him for falling in love with another.

And she hates herself for bringing life into a daughter.

One she thought she needed, but never wanted.

*

She holds her close to her body, lips running smoothly on her cheek.

If I would've known, I would've taken care of you.

Her heart beats an out of tune melody, stilling and painful.

She presses her lips against the soft base of her neck.

I never though this would happen.

Her unrequited love hurts more than losing.

She presses down harder, stifles her cry.

I love you, but I love him more and I won't lose him to you.

Revenge never did taste as sweet with crimson stained eyes and red lips.
