Mission
The Patrol Unit essentially handles Anatole security. Primarily, it is dedicated to protecting humans (both native and outworld, human-like creatures included) from threats posted by monsters, whether from the tunnels, the ruins or imported through the Door. However, in extreme cases, the Unit has been known to lend its strength to human-human problems as well - for example providing backup during the recent serial killer incidents.
Funding
Funding is provided through Prisiclla's investments in arena fighters (of the nonorganic type).
Future Aspirations
Currently, we are rebuilding the headquarters after its destruction. We plan to expand it size and upgrade its facilities.
Benefits
A modest (but livable) salary and access to the Headquarters both as a permanent residence and as a simple stop-in. This includes access to free lodgings and food, training grounds, a gym and recreation (at least once the Headquarters is repaired). Salaries are distributed on the first of the month. This includes the Police Division as well! Members are not automatically given a room - they must request it on the page dedicated to whichever building they wish to live in.
Responsibilities
Members are expected to patrol the ruins near the border to the city. Most members do this five days a week for three hours per day, though some have been willing to take on second shifts. Shorter or fewer shifts have become feasible as the organization has grown, as well.
Joining
To inquire about membership, please contact Priscilla (yetsleeping), Arthur (supercillious) or Riza (firebornfidelis), either on one of their Network posts or through their personal inboxes. A potential member must interview with the three of them, as well as demonstrate combat ability in a supervised trip into the ruins.
All the Patrol require is some form of combat expertise, and the willingness to work with a partner for at least two weeks. After two weeks, a member can choose to remain partnered or undergo combat testing to prove their ability to handle a solo patrol.
