I have had great love once...and it left and broke my heart...and I still till this day have yet to recover. I dont know if i could ever love someone the same way. I miss having someone there sometimes just to seem like someone cares....but gotta live each day at a time cause out there...there some girl for both of us..thinking the same way we are. Saying to herself "where are all the good/nice guys"...we (jake and I) are right here ladies! Till then we will just play our position like a shortstop and wait our turn cause when it comes..it will be well worth the wait
i know how that is. i went through most of high school with that stigma in my mind. what i did is just say "fuck it." what i mean by that is that this really shouldnt be a huge concern in the present. you dont need a woman in your life right now. it is a nice thing to have, but so are friends. it also gives you plenty of time to really get ok with yourself. i myself realized that i may feel lonely sometimes, but that allows me to be there for everyone i care about. if someone needs someone i could always be there. and the great thing about that approach is that when something unexpected comes along, it turns out to be that much sweeter.

Unrequited love is a bitch, i understand that. But you need to undersatnd that you can find love in diffrent places. (like your friends!)
Being lonely hurts, and you will be alone until you realize that you have FRIENDS. And damn good ones at that.
As hard as it may be to realize, your friends care will be there for you always.
At least i will be.
