My legs are freakin' sore, most especially my shins and ankles. They are worn out! Sadly, I just got back from the Greenbelt, where I attempted my usual 5-miler. Only made it about 15 minutes into it, ate shit, got up, tried to run some more, and decided to give in to my aches and pains. Tomorrow will be better, I'll be fully recovered. Perhaps yesterday's workout wasn't as "light" as I thought. Sunday, the day after my 7.3 miler, I walked around McKinney Falls for the first time with Kelly. Yesterday I went to the park and did 10 suicides, 10 laps. jump rope x 300, two arm/back exercises, and shot some hoops for probably twenty minutes. My back feels awesome today, it's nice and sore! My legs feel like weights though, to the point that they are tender when I am putting pressure on the pedals while I'm driving. Rest days are tough because I don't get that hyped up adrenaline rush, but on the other hand I can focus on getting little projects finished around the house for a simpler tomorrow. I have a lot of projects I'm excited about this summer! Painting my bedroom/bathroom, finishing the desk I'm giving to my mom (I'm glossing it today), reading 10 books, ummm...doing the dishes? Haha :)
