Birthday

i had my 38th birthday on Saturday. It was a nice, small event. the two of us had dinner at the space needle and then walked around seattle center for a little bit before going home to watch movies and play with louis.

yesterday I got a birthday card from mom. the sentiment was incredibly sweet but the signature killed me. this was the first year I've gotten a birthday card without my dads name on it.
