Jinseok doesn't know how to respond to hugs when it comes to Seyong anymore. There had been natural reactions to everyone's affections, but then he realized Seyong wanted to be different.
Gunwoo and Insoo teased him without end. Like typical hyung-Dongsaeng relationships, they poked and pinched him and made silly faces at him when he felt up to disputing pinches to his ass and attempts to bald him with ruffling his hair. It's the same when he goes to them both for help in trying to hit a note impossibly out of his range. The vocal instructors have set his limit at less than a handful of lines but he has seen how idol bands work. Jinseok knows he will get more and more eventually.
Junkyu's hugs felt natural. As the closest in age they felt the need to be friends and drop honorifics because what difference does a year or so make when they need someone to relate to? Junkyu was the smallest bit more shy when in the public eye. That was true, but he was never above making a fool of himself when it is only them and no one is around to throw it back in his face.
And then there was Seyong, who bundled his hugs with kisses and barely there touches that made his skin flare. He unnerved Jinseok. They were all growing close and closer sure, but not to the extent where Seyong entirely erased lines of personal boundaries. Even Insoo who perfected walking into rooms without knocking, felt remotely normal and entirely accidental in his repetitive actions.
"At least he didn't slip you any tongue," is all his supposed late night confidant offers. Jinseok obviously prefers Junkyu quiet and smiling.
"I mean when does the skinship cross over into something else," he asked as he rolled over onto his back, fingers worrying his sheets.
"I think you two are passed that. Seyong mentioned earlier how you complimented his height exceptionally well for back hugs. I take it he means ass to crotch height but that's just me."
As it turns out, Junkyu finds out that his and Jinseok's bed are perfectly distanced and angled so anything Jinseok throws at him hits, and hurts.
