That was absolutely beautifully written. You have such a lovely way with words. I think despite the fact that Pi and Massu are really the hardest people to write about in NEWS due to their passive personalities, you have somehow managed to make this whole piece very Pi-Massu-ish. Like this is how they could be. I love the quietness and subtle melancholy of this fic...very well done and you can give yourself a pat on the back that you have actually made me read MassuPi slash XD

...and I have written another ShigePi. See, I am a man of my word. Or woman. Or girl. Whichever XD

I actually think they could be happy together. I don't know why it ended up so sad. Maybe because I also believe that neither of them would try to move anything forward... hmmmm.

xDDD don't worry, I doubt I'll be writing more MassuPi so you won't be subject to more!

...a woman of your word! Has a better ring to it than 'man of your word', I think. xD

I expected this to be really really good, based on the first couple lines alone. but the warning made me wary; i didn't know if i wanted well-written sadness tonight. but i read it anyway, because MassuPi is too good a pairing to resist. my expectations were exceeded almost a ridiculous amount, even though they were high to begin with. and the sadness i was dreading didn't turn out to hurt as much as i feared. there was hope in this, and even though some lines were heartbreakingly sad (And Massu yearns to be able to take them away for good, one day, but knows, from the way Pi tells him so little, that maybe he is not the one meant to save Pi from his own agony. just kill me now, please.) it was also so vaguely hopeful and...content that it made it better. i mean, this made me sad but in the kind of inevitable way Massu and Pi were sad. i always love it when writing is so good that it makes you feel what the characters do. i loved this, a lot, so i'll be putting it in my bookmarks of great fic. thanks so much for sharing it.

Based on your first line, I was pretty scared to read the rest, cause it kind of sounded like the fic was so terrible and disappointing. I'm touched that you thought it actually wasn't, though, and glad that you weren't too upset by it. And yes, Massu and Pi just seem to inspire sadness. I'm so honoured that you bookmarked it. (: Thanks for eading.

^^ Don't worry! And yes, all my recent fic can be found in yesterday-child. J.E. fics are all here, though of course you're free to look at the rest. -laughs-

Shit, now I'm depressed. This two are my favorite guys in the fandom, and it's really hard to find something so well written about them, why it has to be sad and contemplative? Sigh. I feel like quoting the whole thing, it was too good!

This was heartbreaking, because the fic goes on with them not feeling good enough for the other, and knowing it has to end, some day. I'm glad the story didn't finish with that, though, but with the foolish hopefulness of being content with so little. The saddest part, I think, is not all this, but the fact that it could be better, the end could change, maybe, if they tried. But I guess you can end up even more crushed if you try and it still doesn't work out. Gah, life can be so complicated sometimes! Specially when we write about it!

Wonderful fic, seriously. I would love to find happier stories about this two, but I don't think they would be this good. Thank you for this!

Yeah, life can be really terribly complicated. Sigh. Oh well. Maybe one day there will be good, happy fic with this pairing? Thank you for reading, though I'm sorry it made you sad!

xD I'm glad you liked it. Honestly I feel sort of indebted to you; if it weren't for you I would never have started writing JE fic. And now I'm steadily making my way through all 15 possible NEWSxNEWS pairings. D: I'm only 6 pairings from completion, and sadly 5 of them are Tegoshi pairings. (In other words, I haven't written a single Tegoshi fic. D::::::)

Sooo. :D

Hahaha indebted to me? I didn't really do anything though. I just flailed a lot :D

(Same here hahahaha, I never write Tegoshi unless I HAVE TO hahahahaha)
