Another one bites the dust...
Well, it's the first day of class and today already sucks...and I haven't even been to class yet. I got up at 5:30 to take my car to the Honda dealership because the check engine light came on last night. Yup, I need a new transmission. Well, Honda can't do anything for my Acura, so I have to take it to the Acura dealership. At least they didn't charge me for the diagnosis. On the way home it was having trouble changing gears and smoke started coming out for a couple seconds. Greeeeeeat. First day of class and I'm having to bum rides off of friends to get me everywhere. Blah. Too bad half my classes aren't even on campus, so I can't take the bus, even though the bus stop is a rather lengthy distance away.
Either way, tonight's going to be fun. I'm going to a movie, dinner, and the b-ball game with my newest friend, Nathan. Good thing he's driving, eh? This semester, I'm taking four education classes and a graduate information and library science class. Should be interesting...and a whole freakin lot of work. I've been checking out my syllabus and each class has at least 3 huge projects. Fabulous. I miss mainstream classes, but not really. Just the work loads.
