My new religion
I'm constantly in search for a good religion that makes most sense to me. Atheism or agnosticism just didn't cut it, I think I've finally found one that makes sense. The sun as a deity: Heliolatry.
I'm perfectly fine with worshiping the sun, I tell it I love it whenever I see it anyways. Without it, we absolutely could not be here, it's the essence of our existence. It's the thing that made us become different from other things, so I think we can attribute 'humanity' to the sun giving us a reason to become what we are today. So, way to go sun, I worship you.
Plus I can see it, so when people ask me where my god is, 50% of the time I can point them directly at it, the other 50% I can usually point to a reflection of it.
Be careful though, if we're not good people, the sun's wrath will prove mighty, hence, global warming.
