Humans are unique jigsaw pieces; like snowflakes, no two alike, none perfectly compatible.
So we smash together, trying to get a view of the bigger picture. But in the end, it’s all a big joke, there is no bigger picture, just jigsaw pieces scattered about.
The punchline to the joke is hope. We hope we’ll find the pieces that fit together perfectly. Sometimes we think we do, and if we’re fortunate this last long enough to go to the grave with.
The lucky ones are those who find people they can connect with long enough to make something meaningful for themselves, their own picture, one that was unintended by whoever created us. And that is what makes it all worth while, the little glimpses to the art we create.
