but aw these two, just SO MUCH AW. Tama being all flaily and Miyata just being super excited to be there, and the cute little Japanese bits.

A million months later, for the record:

Actually, it was Iida who set them up that way. But it might be Taipi paying for it anyway, when Kitayama fails to verify the facts beforehand. XD

I'm sure that they've had various conversations about random shit. They've been friends for a long time.

Tama: "But are you REALLY fluent? Like, is there anything you can't say?"

Miyata: "...I don't know? Like what?"

And then Tama comes up with random shit and Miyata is surprised to realize that he DOES know how to say "come" in Old Local, because of course he was a child when he was taken by the government. Although he thinks he must have picked it up somewhere later during the course of his work. I'm thinking he's seen some interesting things in the process of trying to catch unregistered people, some of whom may also use Old Local, and hence why Miyata is assigned to their cases?

But to Miyata's relief (and disbelief), Tamamori seems just as enamored with him as he is with Tamamori.
"Toshiya's nose is big," Tamamori says
This made me laugh, but then I smiled like an idiot, much like I suppose Miyata would. XD
