Why Fujigaya Hates Being On Tour
Senga's
Nikaido opens the door to insistent knocking and finds Fujigaya standing on the other side. He takes in the sweatpants and t-shirt Fujigaya is wearing, the lack of shoes, and frowns.
"What's wrong?"
"I'm staying here tonight," Fujigaya says in lieu of an answer.
Nikaido doesn't move. "What? Why?"
"You're not using the other bed anyway." Fujigaya crosses his arms, looking annoyed. "Just let me in."
Nikaido looks back over his shoulder at Senga fast asleep in Nikaido's bed. "Umm..."
"Look, Wataru's already asleep in my bed, so I need a place to crash."
"And why is he in your bed?" Nikaido raises an eyebrow.
"Because Tamamori and Miyata are in his and Tama's room."
Nikaido thinks about it for a minute. "But... then why didn't he just take Miyata's room? And why didn't Tamamori just go over there in the first place?" he asks.
Fujigaya glares at him. "Do you want to be the one to go ask them? Then you can get Miyata's key."
"Ah." Nikaido doesn't stop Fujigaya when he pushes past Nikaido into the room. "Right." Nikaido lets the door close behind himself. "Make yourself at home."
Miyata's
It's pretty much the same situation the next night, but at least Fujigaya manages to get Miyata's key first.
Yokoo's
The third night, it's the alcohol that does it. When Fujigaya wakes up in the morning, he has a killer headache. Rolling over with a groan, he discovers that he's in Yokoo's bed, with Yokoo on Tamamori's over by the window. Tamamori (and Miyata) are nowhere to be seen.
Yokoo is already awake, sitting up and reading a book. He glances over as Fujigaya squints at him. "Ah, you're awake."
Fujigaya groans again. "I wish I wasn't," he mutters. "What time is it?"
"Still early."
"Then why are you awake?"
Yokoo laughs and Fujigaya winces at the sound. "It's not that early."
"Why am I here?" Fujigaya asks, letting his head drop back onto Yokoo's pillow.
"Because one day, your father and your mother decided to have a little fun and-"
Yokoo cuts off when Fujigaya throws the pillow at him. Fujigaya regrets it a moment later though, when he figures out he has nothing to bury his head into. Yokoo laughs again.
"You were heavy, and this room was closest to the elevator."
"Not drinking ever again," Fujigaya mumbles into the mattress. Yokoo snorts and goes back to his book.
Tamamori's
Fujigaya opts to stay in Yokoo's room again the next night. Tamamori and Miyata have gotten themselves sorted and moved Tamamori permanently into Miyata's room, which leaves a vacant bed in a very convenient place. Close to the elevator is good for more than just being drunk, apparently. By the time they get back from what has been a somewhat hellish day for him (damn hangover), Fujigaya decides that the extra 20 meters to his own room aren't worth it. He does, however, let Yokoo take his own bed back. Tamamori won't be needing his anymore.
Nikaido's
On the fifth night, he's so close, so close, to finally making it to his own room, when he's forcibly shoved back into Nikaido and Senga's. Fujigaya doesn't think that Senga's bed has been used since he slept there a few days before, but it doesn't look like it's going to get used tonight, either. It's a tight fit in Nikaido's bed, but they manage.
Kitayama's
Fujigaya does make it to his own bed on the last night of their stay. But the lights aren't even off before Kitayama hums.
"You're not really going to stay over there, are you?" he asks, and the invitation is clear in his voice. Fujigaya wants to refuse on principle, and says nothing.
"Ne, Taipi."
"What."
"Don't be stubborn~" Kitayama is smirking when Fujigaya turns his head, and Fujigaya would be annoyed, except for the part where it's totally hot. Kitayama knows him too well and any attempt to dissuade him will fall on deaf ears. It's not like Fujigaya ever really refuses, and they both know he's not going to now, either.
With a sigh, Fujigaya throws back his covers and crosses the space between the beds to slide in next to Kitayama. "You'd better make it up to me," he grumbles. He has to at least pretend to be irritated.
"Oh, I will," Kitayama says, his voice full of promise. He reaches past Fujigaya to switch off the light and falls on Fujigaya with a warm mouth and searching fingers.
Having your own bed, Fujigaya thinks as he arches into Kitayama's touch, is possibly overrated.
His Own
"You know," Nikaido says, "I never get why we need four rooms. It's not like Taipi ever uses his bed anyway, and-" Fujigaya smacks him in the back of the head, but it doesn't deter Nikaido much. "Well, even if he did. Senga and I can just share a room with Tama and Miyacchi-"
"No." He's interrupted again with a sharp word from Kitayama. "No, you can't."
"But-"
"No."
Nikaido scowls. "Whatever."
Fujigaya looks back and forth between the two of them. "...is there something I'm missing?"
"No." Tamamori's voice joins with Nikaido's and Kitayama's as he enters, trailed by the rest of their group. Fujigaya looks at him suspiciously, but then Miyata drops a bento into his lap.
"Here."
"Ah, thanks Miyacchi."
The others pass out the rest of the lunches and it's business as usual. Fujigaya completely misses the look Kitayama throws Nikaido over his head, and his mouthed command.
NO.
