A little update. .
How long has it been since I placed something in here? I know it has only been a few days, yet, it seems like it has been forever. Things have changed as they always do. We got pre-approved for our loan, but the payments are going to be more than we expected. I want to be careful; I do not want to rush something, so here is what we have decided to do. We have decided to wait on the house, to save up the money to buy me a small car, and then we will build as soon as I get me a job. That way we know we can pay for it without having to worry about going in the hole. I guess that means we will be staying here at my parents until then. We are still going on vacation though, because it is much needed. After our honeymoon disaster I believe we need some time away alone.
Well, yesterday we left to go pick up Ace at seven AM, it took us four hours because we had to backtrack a few times. I lost my cool once, thinking we were going to right way, got ill and yelled, but other than that we had a good trip. We arrived at the Smith’s house at like eleven thirty and picked out the one we wanted out of the two dogs. The other one was a little pudgy and they said he had had diarrhea that morning so we decided to get the leaner one, he already looks mean due to his eyes being such a bright blue color. We did stop and eat at Waffle House on the way. On our way back we stopped and got gas and at the station we picked up a slice of pizza to keep us from going through the drivethru and finally arrived home at 2:45 which was about what we were expecting, I’m glad it did not take as long coming home.
Last night was horrible.. Every hour and a half Ace was up wanting water, so I would give him some and then take him out. He did NOT like being in the crate we bought, he hates it. Of course, what puppy would love it? He has to learn it’s his den though, eventually he will get use to it. Finally at 3:00 I couldn’t handle the crying anymore, so I got him from the crate and he slept soundly from 3:15 till 6:00 with me. Good rest. I was thrilled. I got up, let him out for a while, and then left him with his grandmother while I slept for another two hours. It felt good to bet a slight amount of rest.
He’s been good about going to the bathroom outside, which I’m glad. I couldn’t handle my Mom complaining. Speaking of Mom, I bought her a single rose for mothers day along with a card and box of Whoppers for her to snack on. Dad cooked on the grill and Rachel and Michial decided to come over, they’ll be here till tomorrow.
