"It was quite a long, lost weekend without you last time!“
lol lost weekend

I hope they can make it back! (after they bump uglies first, of course)
If he leaves in 1966 that means no MMT or Sgt. Pepper or White Album or anything! That has GOT to have an effect of modern music. No Oasis, maybe? *prays*
But admittedly I would like to know what John thinks about rap. I bet he'd like it.

You can bet your bottom dollar John likes rap! He loved all new sounds. :) So does Paul for that matter. :)

New Chapter up so you can see all about Oasis... ;)

A young John Lennon (or look-alike/twin/clone) walking down the street wouldn't attract stares in New York or Washington in 2008? Dream on, John.

I can only guess that this incident provided partial inspiration for the song "Get Back."

Nice to know that we've got a Nasa physicist to figure out how to fix the results of this Mary Sue mess.

I don't think John would attract that much attention in NY or DC - he walked around fairly unmolested in the 70s for real, didn't he? No one would be expecting to see him in 2006, so I don't think he'd be that big a sensation - and in cities people mostly mind their own business.

I'm not sure from your comment if you're enjoying this or not! LOL!

First, yes, I am enjoying this. Should have said that more clearly.

Second, although I don't think there'd be Beatlemania over him, a fairly large number of people would do double-takes and recognize the famous face and wonder at it. Stares if they happened to really get a look at him, I would think. Of course, they'd remind themselves, John Lennon is dead. So, they'd probably not approach him. But stare, yeah. It's a pretty well-known, universally recognized face, after all.

Glad you're enjoying it!

I bet he would get double-takes, though I'm sure they wouldn't believe it could really be him!

A friend of mine knows Sean and Dhani quite well (her boyfriend drummed on Sean's last album) and she was out to dinner with them - and apparently a lot of people did double-takes -like they recognized them but couldn't quite place where they knew them from. I was kind of amused - because Sean and Dhani look like their dads - but not identical - so I bet people were trying to figure out why they looked familiar! :-)
