[The video simply shows a man in a vest and button down shirt sitting in a chair with a book in his hands. The man is flipping through the pages quickly. This goes on for a second or so until the edges of the page he's flipping catches fire. There is a scramble of movement as the man, revealed to be Spencer Reid during his struggle to extinguish

[Hanna just quietly observes. He knew something was up with the books, with big chunks of pages missing...but he hadn't actually see this happen yet.]

...why are the books just destroying themselves...

I'm fine. I didn't burn myself. I'm more worried about the books. I hadn't finished reading all of them and they're just...destroying themselves before I get the chance. I don't understand it. The books aren't that old and I've taken care not to be around anything flammable while reading.

[He sounds very mournful about the loss of books rather than worried about his own safety]

What were you trying to read about, if I may ask?

Magic. We don't have it in my world, at least not like this. I've been reading how it works and what's out there.

Yeah, I do. At least about one kind of magic, anyway.

Rune based.

That sort of magic makes the most sense to me. It's like a math formula.

Something like that, yeah! It's all about combining symbols and whatnot. It's all I know how to do.

Once the library stops burning I'll have to do more research on rune magic. Is it something that can be taught?

Yeah, it can be...dunno if I'd be a good teacher, though...
