(no subject)
I am so glad I have today off work, You have no idea. Work is beginning to wear me down some. On Saturday, I worked 10 hours straight. No food, no break, and no sitting down. Just taking orders from people who don't know how to tip. Despite all my griping, its a good job, I just really needed today off.
I'm working tues, thursday, friday, and saturday. Some of ya'll should come visit me ;)
And boys need to stop asking me out at work. I'm up to four so far. Do boys dig working girls...cuz I don't know, I've never had this kind of attention before. I like one of the boys though....most widely know as the boy who is too old for me...but more appropriately known as Rick.
I registered for classes today. We have to take whats called a "First Year Experience" which is basically a required course that is just wasting your time and money. BUT it sounds totally awesome at the same time. I have chosen to go into a class called Games. It goes into the mathematical theory of games, sociological effects of games, and the uses of games in areas as diverse as economics, political science, the creation of art, and engineering. It says...be prepared to play a lot of games. Sounds fun.
I'm also going into English 102, Spanish 101, and Honors Accelarated Calculus.
That wrapped up with a totally awesome swim team...
and there we go, first semester of college.
Its making it even more clear that I'm leaving. I'm excited about starting my life up. Even though summer hasn't been here for very long, I feel like I've grown up a lot. Work, my breakup with paul, forever and ever swimming, being on my own a lot because i work at night and my family works during the day, selling my house, and preparing for college all combined has really taught me a little bit more of what life is all about.
