The time has come to update.

So I'll be heading home two days and a week from today. I have a pretty mixed feelings about it. Okay, they aren't that mixed at all. I'll miss Sean a lot, but besides that I'm beyond ready for a break from good old OCU. I don't want to say that people are different here then up North, but I kind of feel that way. Listening to "How Can I Call This Home?" this weekend, I couldn't wait to be in New York. It's not like I've even been around the people of Oklahoma all that much, but little things. Like tonight there's a party and at some point this morning I thought, "I have nothing to wear." I would never think that at home. I'd throw on jeans and a tee-shirt and leave my hair messy and have an amazing time. I don't know. The nice thing about not being at high school or college is that you only have to see who you want to. Of course, I also don't have the option of seeing people from school, which sucks. But I will be making a trip to Iowa to see Sean, which I'm really really excited about. I wish I didn't have to only go once.

So I'm in debt. I haven't been checking how much I have in my account since, oh, December. I just assumed I had a ton of money, which I did in the beginning of the year. So basically I felt like a huge irresponsible asshole, but I know now that it won't happen again. My parents are lending me some money, but my kickass job will pay it back in, like, half a week. I got a job working as a floater for the NYS Budget. Basically, whenever a secretary or assistant is on vacation (which they tell me is pretty much every week), I take their job, and if everyone's there I work in the main office for Human Resources. It actually sounds like it will be a decent amount of work, but I'm getting paid 10.25 an hour for 40 hours a week. Not bad. Then I'll be getting myself into a summer class or two, then chilling with the 518ers all summer (with a trip to Cape Cod and Iowa in there too).

Parade was this weekend and it was amazing. I saw it all three nights and loved it just as much each time. Sean's family and Justine came and I got to spend a little bit of time, which I like because I like them a whole lot. My mom also came, which was cool. She got to see Parade and Stripped, come to my jazz class, meet my voice teacher, and tour the new building. It was great to have her see all the people I hang out with and all the talent that's in this school.

And that's my update.
