It's a shame... everyone being so unhappy today. This season always has been fraught with sadness as well as happiness, but this seems quite unnatural. A curse, I suppose.
Still, it is a shame, even if it will probably be gone by tomorrow. That this wave of ill humor is nothing more than a temporary effect doesn't mitigate the real unhappiness people feel. I hope those in the City remember that, come tomorrow.
