$665 - Small room w/large window in gorgeous Victorian flat, queer-friendly (noe valley)
Ok, so here's the deal. The flat is a large and beautiful recently up-dated top-floor flat in a 3-unit building on Fair Oaks Street with a lot of common space. It's in a great neighborhood a few blocks from 24th Street BART, with 24th Street shopping in Noe Valley in one direction, and the Mission a few blocks in the other. You'd be the second person living here -- the landlord will only allow 2 people to share the flat.
The flat itself is truly amazing, with lots of light, high ceilings, a large eat-in kitchen, washer/dryer in the flat all for us (no treks to the laundromat!), dishwasher, large living room, back porch with great view and a super nice landlord. Oh yes, and all wood floors and lots of nice moldings and woodwork.
The actual bedroom for rent is cozy but small. It's around 7x10 -- a single bed might be best, a full size bed might work as well. Twelve foot ceilings and a huge window with a great view make the room feel bigger than you'd expect. Furnished or partially furnished is possible.
About me: Mid-thirties, FTMish/faggy butch dyke, full-time grad student (not home very much during the week), non-smoker, very light to non-drinker, not a big partier, but still social, friendly and fun. Quiet. Responsible. Clean. Good communicator. Originally an East-coaster.

Other info: An older, friendly, quiet mellow dog who sleeps a lot, and two sweet cats also share the flat. They will be nice to you, but they won't bother you.
