i used to think it was great
when i got to look forward to seeing your face
but now that we occupy the same space
i just cant get excited in the same way

the further away the fuzzier your face
the harder to make a less desirable trace
when i'm looking at you through a telescopic lens
thats when its easier for me to use my imagination
but when i'm looking at you through a microscopic lens
thats when it harder for me to pretend

i don't like your excessive drinking.
