I wish someone had told me sooner that french fries cure hangovers. Really.

Not that I'm supposed to be eating french fries, but we all have to break the diet rules ever once in a while, right?

I cooked an amazing dinner last night. I absolutely love cooking for people. It's nice to be in the kitchen surrounded by friendly faces who appreciate a decent meal.

Last night we had a Mexican feast courtesy of my uncle who just caught a gazillion albacore tuna in Rosarita. We had traditional style fish tacos (albacore rubbed with salt, pepper, lime juice and cayenne pepper) with a really good cabbage salsa and avocado. For the vegetarians and non-fish eaters, there were fajita veggies, beans, spanish rice, and all of the usual fajita toppings. We also had pasta salad (not quite fitting for a Mexican feast, but it went well with everything), vodka-soaked watermelon, chips & salsa...

And chocolate custard pie.

I have a fridge full of leftovers seeing as how so many of my friends like to RSVP and not show up. Anyone hungry?

All I want to do this afternoon is curl up in bed and take a nice long nap. Unfortunately, I'm at work and somehow I don't think curling up in my cubicle is really office-appropriate. Although I will confess that before someone stole my office from me, I used to take naps under my desk when I'd get a migraine. I also used to cry under my desk when Barb and I broke up. I figure better under my desk than in front of the boss!

Ramble, ramble, ramble...
