i had such an amazing feeling last night.
kristy and i went to the GPGDS and donna the buffalo show downtown at like 9. we missed giant panda guerilla dub squad, whiched sucked because i wanted reggae! oh well, ill see them on 4/20 hopefully.
it was soo goddamn cold. we waited outside for a while for tickets.
people were soo nice. i love those kind of shows because of the people. at hardcore shows people are always so mean, and you feel like you're being looked at like, "who the fuck is she?" the whole night.
at the show last night, there was alot of older people there. i felt like a kid! not a bad thing though.
donna the buffalo was amazing. i havent listened to them that much, but im in love! everyone was dancing, just moving. couples we're hand-in-hand dancing together. it was sweet. old hippies, young hippies. everyone was high or drunk but not in an obnoxious way, they were just enjoying life and the music and moving to it.
people were soo happy. i cant imagine anyone being sad at such an event.
it smelled like sandlewood and weed. i talked to this guy who was dancing next to me, he was nice. he hadnt even heard of any of the two bands until that day. shoulda got his number, oh well he was too old for me.
i didnt even notice how long i had been standing and how tired i was until i got home. it was such a natural high. i came home at 1, smelling like clove ciggarettes.
it was a refreshing night under a full yellow moon, that just reminds me how great life is.
